The Peninsula Museum of Art occupies half of the first floor in the Twin Pines Art Center. The other first-floor occupants are the Belmont Arts Council Gallery and the Peninsula Arts Council office. Rooms on the second floor are rented to artists for their working studios.
PMA’s “starter home” provides a wonderful environment for art in Belmont’s Twin Pines Park. The Museum includes the formal Gallery, the Collections Room, and a reference library filled with over 1,200 books on art.
As the Museum grows and develops, additional gallery space and art education facilities will be needed. Since the Museum’s current home in the historic Manor House cannot be modified to meet these needs, the Museum has begun a site search and Building Fund.

The PMA Governing Board celebrated receipt of a million-dollar donation from Charles Homer at their December 2005 meeting. Toasting Mr. Homer are (from left) Arabella Decker, Mr. Homer, Dr. Christine Bennett, Ruth Waters, and Jerry Emanuel.
