Evidence of Things Unseen
July 28, 2007 to October 21, 2007 (Reception follows on Sunday, July 29, from 1 to 4 p.m.)
"Evidence of Things Unseen", an exhibition of the winners and finalists in the annual international competition sponsored by the Ultimate Eye Foundation, opens in the Museum Gallery on July 28.
The Ultimate Eye Foundation focuses on two genres: creative and innovative figure photography, and digital art based on photography. The annual winner of each genre receives a $5,000 award. .
The co-founders of Ultimate Eye, James Stanley Daugherty and Kathryn Daugherty, review hundreds of submissions each year, evaluating work on the bases of aesthetics, creativity and originality, thematic relevance, and technical skill
Museum Gallery hours are noon to 4 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and 1 to 4 on Saturdays and Sundays. The exhibition closes Oct. 21
